Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions are an agreement between you and BQ Sqwad Technologies covering the BQ Sqwad AI website, installable web app and Android application. By creating an account or using the Services you accept them. This is the single canonical Terms & Conditions document for BQ Sqwad AI.

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, and at least 13 years old. If you use BQ Sqwad AI on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

You are responsible for your sign-in credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately at hello@bqsqwadai.com if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend an account that is being used to abuse the Services or other people.

You agree not to use BQ Sqwad AI to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• create sexual content involving minors, or content that incites violence or hatred;
• impersonate a real person or mislead people into thinking AI output is human;
• attempt to extract our prompts, credentials or model configuration, or to bypass credit, plan or permission limits;
• send malware, scrape at scale, or interfere with the Services' operation.

Responses are generated automatically and can be wrong, outdated or incomplete. You are responsible for checking anything important before you rely on it, and BQ Sqwad AI is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial or safety advice.

You keep the rights you already hold in what you submit. Subject to these terms and applicable law, you may use the output we generate for you, including commercially. Similar output may be generated for other people.

You must have the right to upload what you upload. You grant us only the licence we need to store and process your content in order to run the features you use, to keep the Services secure and to comply with law. We do not use your content to train third-party models.

• You are responsible for content you post in a team and for who you invite.
• Team owners and managers may approve or reject join requests for private teams and may remove members according to the product’s controls.
• AI replies in a team are generated only when a member explicitly asks the assistant. Ordinary member-to-member messages do not call AI; the sender pays the platform-configured per-message credit price from their personal balance.
• Credit prices and product pricing are set by BQ Sqwad Technologies for the service as a whole. Individual teams cannot set or change platform prices.
• Misuse of teams (spam, harassment, unlawful content) may result in suspension of the team or related accounts under these Terms.

AI features consume credits. The server is authoritative for balances, reservations, refunds, plan limits and the price of every operation — prices, credit rates and allowances are configured by us at runtime and are shown to you before you buy. Credits already spent on delivered work are not refundable, and credits reserved for work that fails are returned automatically.

Paid plans renew automatically for the period you chose until you cancel. Cancelling stops future charges and access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. Payments are processed by Paystack. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

We work to keep BQ Sqwad AI available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may be added, changed, limited or withdrawn, and where a change materially reduces something you paid for we will tell you first.

You can stop using the Services at any time and request deletion through the Account & Data Deletion Request page. We may suspend or end access where these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, where required by law, or to protect other users.

The Services are provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without prejudice to consumer rights you have under the law of your own country of residence.

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date reflects the published version and material changes are announced before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services after that means you accept the updated terms.
