How AI is used in the product

  • Text chat and the general assistant, including business and learning modes.
  • Live voice conversation, speech-to-text transcription and text-to-speech.
  • Live camera assistance, where frames are analysed to answer your question.
  • Image, video, presenter/avatar video, animation and music generation and editing.
  • Translation and summarisation of text and audio you provide.

How your input is processed

Your prompts and the relevant context are sent over encrypted connections to vetted AI model providers acting as our processors. They are contractually restricted to processing your content only to return a result, and are not permitted to use it to train their models. Details of storage and retention are in the Privacy Policy.

Limitations you should expect

AI output is generated automatically and can be incomplete, outdated or wrong. It is not professional legal, medical, financial or safety advice. Always verify important information independently before relying on it, and never rely on the assistant in an emergency.

Credits and metering

Usage is metered in BQ Credits. Text and voice requests are charged based on the actual tokens consumed and the model tier used; video, video editing and cartoon animation are charged by quality and duration at the rates shown in the product before you generate. Credits reserved for a request that fails are returned automatically.

Your responsibilities and ownership

You must have the rights to everything you upload, and your use must follow our Community Guidelines. Subject to those terms, you own the content you generate and are responsible for how you publish or use it, including labelling AI-generated media where required.
